产品描述：Enalapril 的活性代谢物，是血管紧张素转化酶（ACE）抑制剂。Enalapril maleate is an effective and potent angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor that is used to treat hypertension and heart failure. The compound has been used to study diabetic angiopathy in diabetic rats and inhibition of ACE in hog plasma. ACE inhibitors disturb the enin-angiotensin- aldosterone system. As a prodrug, enalapril is converted by de-esterification into its active form enalaprilat. Enalaprilat competitively binds to and inhibits ACE, thereby blocking the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II. This prevents the potent vasoconstrictive actions of angiotensin II and results in vasodilation. Enalapril also decreases angiotensin II-induced aldosterone secretion by the adrenal cortex, which leads to an increase in sodium excretion and subsequently increases water outflow.
