Body weight and food intake are monitored daily.Mice are euthanized by cervical dislocation under anesthesia;the brain,hypothalamus,liver,and combined fat pads are removed,weighed,and snap-frozen,and trunk blood is collected for determining the endocrine and biochemical parameters.
