体外研究：Stimulation of α-adrenoceptors by metaraminol, a drug with properties similar to noradrenaline, caused acceleration of cell proliferation in colonie crypts but not in tumors.
体内研究：Lethal endotoxin shock is prevented in six of the 10 animals studied by the simultaneous use of Metaraminol.
